Statistics New Zealand

The nationwide fit-outs for Statistics New Zealand focused on creating modern, collaborative, and sustainable workspaces in major city centres, including the Auckland, Wellington & Christchurch. These projects involved multi-floor renovations, open-plan layouts, specialized collaborative areas, and high-performance ergonomic furniture, consolidating teams in the process.

As a member of the Government Furniture Panel (GPG), BFG was invited to submit a tender via GETS, initially for the Auckland and Christchurch fitouts. The lead time for these two sites was tight, and due to lift constraints within the buildings, deliveries were required to take place outside of standard working hours.

BFG worked closely with the Statistics NZ project team to ensure all items were delivered, positioned, and installed seamlessly within the required timeframe.

The Wellington fitout was similarly coordinated with precision, ensuring deliveries occurred at scheduled times with the appropriate level of labour. This enabled efficient distribution of products throughout the building and across multiple floors, while working in parallel with other sub-trades on site.

The BFG team executed the staging of deliveries and installation with precision, ensuring each level was completed on schedule across all locations. This enabled stakeholders to occupy and enjoy their new fitouts without delay.
