Bailey Road Library

Bailey Road School required a refreshed library space that would encourage students to engage with reading, learning, and collaboration in a welcoming and functional environment.

The goal was to create a flexible, inviting space that catered to a range of activities, from quiet reading and independent study through to group learning and interactive sessions.

BFG worked closely with the school to understand how the library was used throughout the day and the different ways students interacted with the space.

Furniture was carefully selected to support flexibility, allowing the space to be easily reconfigured for different activities. A mix of soft seating, tables, and practical storage solutions were incorporated to create zones for both quiet reading and collaborative learning.

Durability was a key consideration, with materials and finishes chosen to withstand high daily use while remaining comfortable and visually appealing. Our team coordinated delivery and installation to align with the school’s schedule, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption.

The completed library is a vibrant, functional space that encourages students to spend time reading, learning, and connecting.
